Shogakukan announced on Friday that Ao Tajima’s popular manga Hotel Inhumans will be turned into a television anime, set to premiere in 2025. The anime will be directed by Tetsuro Amino, known for his work on Macross 7 and Shiki. Studio Bridge will handle the animation. Shoji Yonemura, who worked on Parasyte -the maxim- and Shaman King 2021, will write the series scripts, while Shingo Fujisaki, known for Let This Grieving Soul Retire!, will design the characters.
In celebration of this exciting announcement, Tajima created an illustration. He also expressed his happiness and told fans to look forward to when the anime launches in 2025.
What is Hotel Inhumans About?
Hotel Inhumans’ story revolves around a very strange hotel which caters only to assassins. Here, two dangerous guests are serviced by the luxurious establishment’s two concierges, Sara and Ikurō. We’re not talking about just fine dining and relaxation; the hotel has such services as fresh weapons, identity creation, and a great cleanup crew.
It’s where the people assassinating get together, hang out, and chit chat, all knowing that Sara and Ikurō handle every request, deadliness included, with absolute discretion.
About the Manga
Ao Tajima launched Hotel Inhumans on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry website in June 2021, and the series is still ongoing. The eighth and latest compilation book was published on April 12, 2024, and the later in 2024, the ninth had released on November 19, 2024.
